Julien Fermaud is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and consulting within the insurance and investment sectors. Since March 2011, Julien has served as a Consultant expert comptabilité des placements and consultant comptabilité et MOA d'assurances at Seabird, contributing to project management for Allianz's investment-related IT functions and overseeing IFRS9 dependencies. Prior to this role, Julien was the responsible placement accountant for Cardif at BP2S from August 2018 to January 2020, leading a 12-person team in financial closing processes and accounting controls. Julien's career also includes financial auditing at KPMG from September 2007 to February 2011 and internal auditing at SCOR in early 2007. Academic qualifications include an M1 in Finance and Financial Services Management from INSEEC Lyon and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Staffordshire University.
