Deborah Flemming is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in compliance management and environmental program implementation across various mining companies. Currently serving as Compliance Manager and Environmental & Permitting Specialist at Seabridge Gold Inc. since January 2021, previous positions include Sr. Environmental Coordinator at Coeur Mining, Environmental Coordinator at Capstone Mining Corp, and Environmental Superintendent at North American Tungsten Corporation. With a B.Sc. in Physical Geography from The University of British Columbia, Deborah has a strong background in Environmental Management Systems, permitting processes, community engagement, and regulatory compliance, managing budgets and leading teams to achieve environmental objectives effectively. Notable achievements include successful applications for water licenses and tailings management, as well as enhancing community involvement in environmental programs.
