Larry Walker has worked in the machinist and engineering fields for over 30 years. Larry began their career in 1987 as a Tool and Cutter Grinder at Swift Tool Co. Kent, and a Chair Lift Operator at Pac West Ski Resort. In 1988, they worked as a Machinist at Fatigue Technology Inc. and Halidie Machinery Company. In 1998, they started their own business, Walker Custom Machining, where they ran a small machine shop out of their garage specializing in car parts for 1994-1996 Impala Super Sport cars. From 2004 to 2018, they worked as a Commercial Building Engineer at Egis Real Estate Services and a Print Shop Helper at The Renton Printery. From 1989 to 2004, they worked as an Environmental Control Technician at Boeing. In 2020, they began working as a Commercial Building Engineer at Seabrook Land Company.

Larry Walker has two degrees from Renton Technical College. Larry obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Commercial Building Engineer in 2006 and an Associate of Arts - AA in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist in 1988. Larry also holds a G-Code Programming for CNC Foundations certification from LinkedIn, which they obtained in September 2020.
