Charlie Benson

Charlie Benson has extensive experience as a Chief Engineer in the maritime industry. Charlie started their career with the Alaska Tanker Company in 2002, serving as the Chief Engineer of the Marine Columbia until 2004. Charlie then moved to Interocean American Shipping in 2005 and worked as the Chief Engineer of the MV Patroit until 2010. From 2010 to the present, Benson has been employed by Crowley Maritime, where they initially served as the Chief Engineer of the MV Endurance until 2015, and currently holds the same position on the MT Texas at Seabulk since 2023.

Charlie Benson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy, where they studied from 1988 to 1991.
