Sam Lesky

Sam was born in Camden, New Jersey. He graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1990 and moved with his family to Charleston in 1993 and began attending Seacoast Church. Shortly after being invited to Seacoast, Sam and his wife Joan joined a small group and committed their lives to Christ.

Since 1998, Sam has served Seacoast in a variety of roles, including Small Group Pastor, Mount Pleasant Campus Pastor, and North Charleston Campus Pastor. In 2007, Sam helped establish the Dream Center and the Dream Center Clinic, which serves thousands of patients every year. As part of the Dream Center, Sam helped create the E3 mentoring program, the Adopt-a-Block program, and much more.

He is also a high school football coach and a self-professed “adrenaline junkie,” Sam enjoys surfing, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and any sport where his competitive edge is tested.

He has been married to Joan Lesky for 30 years and has two children, Jennamarie and Gionna as well as numerous others who call them Papa and Nona!
