James Kates

James Kates has extensive experience in the field of psychiatry. James worked as an associate medical director at Seacoast Mental Health Center starting in 1994 and later became the Chief of Psychiatry at Exeter Hospital in 2007. Additionally, they had their private practice in psychiatry at Chestnut Hill Counseling Associates since 2006. Throughout their career, James has treated patients with severe psychiatric issues, supervised healthcare professionals, and overseen various team duties.

James Kates completed their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Clark University in 1984. James then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1990. Subsequently, they pursued a degree in Psychiatry at New York Hospital:Cornell Medical Center, Westchester Division from 1990 to 1994.
