Serina Hughes

Serina Hughes is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in marine conservation and education. As the Digital Content Manager for Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation since June 2019, Serina has effectively created engaging digital content and worked on various initiatives. In addition, work as a Naturalist at Seacoast Science Center involves leading educational marine biology activities. Serina's experience also includes volunteering as a writer for "Our Positive Planet," educating students at Stone Environmental School, and holding previous roles with organizations such as Taconic Outdoor Education Center and Whale and Dolphin Conservation. With a strong academic background, including a Master of Arts in Biology from Miami University, Serina has demonstrated a commitment to environmental education and marine life conservation.
