Rune Thomas Ege

Rune Thomas Ege currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Communications for SeaDream Yacht Club since August 2023. Prior experience includes working as Vice President of Communications and PR for Hurtigruten Expeditions from April 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities encompassed global external and internal communication. Ege held various communication roles within Hurtigruten Group from September 2016 to February 2021, including VP Global Communication and Communications Manager, managing corporate communication on a global scale. Ege's journalism career began at VG - Verdens Gang AS, where significant positions included Foreign Affairs Correspondent, News Editor, and Multimedia Journalist from August 2008 to September 2016. Ege's background also includes service as a Public Affairs Officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces and various reporting roles at TV 2 and VG. Ege holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Volda University College, earned in May 2006.
