Kevin Derry

Kevin Derry is an experienced addiction counselor currently serving as Addiction Counselor 1 at Charles K. Post ATC since September 2019. Derry's extensive background includes roles as a CASAC at St. Charles Medical Center and Seafield Services, where responsibilities encompassed group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Prior to their counseling career, Derry held various positions in property management and maintenance, including Service Manager at Home Properties and Maintenance Manager at Woodlands Condominium Association. Derry began professional pursuits as a carpenter and business owner, founding Derry Home Improvements and Ceramic Tile, overseeing a range of construction and renovation projects. Derry holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Suffolk County Community College, earned between 2013 and 2015.
