Alek Strygin has a diverse work experience. Alek co-founded and served as the COO & Head of Product at Portside, a company that focuses on building a modern operating system for business and government aviation. Alek also co-founded and was the Managing Partner at Curiosity Partners. Alek worked at BCD Travel as the Senior Vice President of Product Management, where they played a key role in expanding the company's global travel management services. Prior to that, they co-founded and was the COO of GetGoing, Inc., where they led product and operations and developed an award-winning consumer travel site. Alek also has experience as an attorney in corporate restructuring and reorganization at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and as a consultant at Charles River Associates.
Alek Strygin's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Alek studied Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at this institution until 1998. Following this, they pursued a B.A. in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley from 1999 to 2001. Finally, Alek Strygin enrolled at USC Gould School of Law in 2005 and earned a J.D. degree in Law in 2008.
