Padraig McDonnell

Padraig McDonnell serves as president of the Agilent CrossLab Group (ACG) and Agilent’s Chief Commercial Officer. He is responsible for leading Agilent’s sales, service, service delivery, and marketing organization, which is focused on maximizing customer lifetime value through digitally enabled, scalable delivery of whole product solutions via customers’ preferred buying models.

Padraig has led ACG since May 2020 and was appointed chief commercial officer in November 2021. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Chemistries and Supplies Division, a role he held since 2016.

Padraig has been in the analytical and scientific instrument industry for 23 years, starting his career at Hewlett-Packard Co., Agilent’s predecessor company, in 1998. He’s been instrumental in driving the service and sales growth of the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India region (EMEAI) for many years, rising through the ranks from service engineer (1998), sales account manager (1999), Ireland business team manager and general manager (2007), sales director (2011) and EMEAI Laboratory Solution Sales vice president and general manager (2014). He is a champion of delivering customer value and complete laboratory solutions, which are foundational principles in ACG’s “From Insights to Outcomes” brand promise.

Padraig holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science from National University of Ireland.
