WHAT YOU’LL DO

We make an extraordinary product. Some might say it defies gravity!  As our Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented, cross-functional team of Manufacturing Engineers, Technical Project Managers, and Automation Controls Engineers. Leveraging your expertise, you’ll drive continuous improvements to ensure our products are crafted with optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.  You’ll contribute to our manufacturing operations by:

  • Overseeing process development for new products, managing capital project implementations, and successfully guiding new product launches into production

  • Leading change management initiatives while championing a culture of innovation to maintain excellence across all operations

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing your multidisciplinary team fostering a collaborative environment

  • Aligning with departmental goals to establish team goals, tracking performance and providing regular feedback and developmental opportunities

  • Overseeing project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring deliverables and timelines are in sync

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across all functions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness

  • Providing technical leadership in fixture design, automation controls, and manufacturing processes

  • Leading the team through tooling and equipment selections

  • Designing new tooling/fixturing for production

  • Coaching team members through FEA

  • Investigating and overseeing implementation of new manufacturing strategies and technologies

  • Leading all facility capital budgets meetings

MUST-HAVES

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field

  • 7+ years of relative work experience

  • Experience managing a team of Manufacturing Engineers

  • Proficient in using CAD software

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems experience

  • Familiarity with GD&T, metal fabrication processes, order of assembly and utilization of investment tooling

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Previous leadership experience with demonstrated success

  • Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation

  • NetSuite experience

  • MATLAB experience

  • Six Sigma certifications

  • Lean certification

MORE DETAILS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW

  • You’ll be based in our Leesport, PA facility 5 days a week

  • You’ll report to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, also based in PA

YOUR TEAM

Our Manufacturing Engineering team is the glue that connects the different aspects of manufacturing together and solves problems to make the process as efficient as possible.  The team is comprised of engineers with varying backgrounds and a large amount of institutional knowledge with a heavy emphasis on collaboration. You’ll be able to be involved in a myriad of projects and work not only with this close-knit team but also many other departments company-wide.
