Rita Obi (nee Okaro)

Rita Obi (nee Okaro) has a diverse work experience in various industries. Rita started their career as a News Writer intern at Ray Power FM, where they gained experience in news writing and proofreading. Rita then served as an Investigation Officer during their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the National Human Rights Commission, where they investigated and resolved complaints of human rights violations.

After completing their NYSC, Rita joined Boomplay as a Content Management Intern, where they gained valuable skills in content management. Rita then worked as a Relationship Manager at UBA Group, where they built and maintained relationships with customers, resolved complaints, and achieved high branch performance.

Rita then transitioned to the role of Brand, Media, and Communications Officer at African Alliance Insurance. Here, they actively contributed to strategic communication plans and digital campaigns, created marketing campaigns, conducted interviews, drafted policy documentation, and analyzed the competition.
