Harshda Prasad

Harshda Prasad is an accomplished structural engineer with extensive experience in leading major engineering projects across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of Structural Engineering at LPA, Inc. since October 2020, Harshda oversees the structural engineering practice in San Diego, San Jose, and Sacramento, with a focus on civic, educational, life sciences, and biotech developments. Harshda has held multiple leadership roles within the Structural Engineering Association of San Diego, including Past President, President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Previously, Harshda worked at HTK Structural Engineers as a Senior Structural Project Manager, as well as at Saiful Bouquet Structural Engineers Inc. and other reputable firms, contributing to significant projects such as the Lambeau Field Expansion and various structures throughout California. Harshda holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. Harshda is also a LEED Accredited Professional, emphasizing a commitment to sustainable design practices.
