Catalin Visan

Catalin Visan is a Master Mariner with extensive maritime experience, currently serving at Seapeak since January 2022. Prior to this role, Catalin held a similar position at TEEKAY SHIPPING (GLASGOW) LIMITED from March 2021 to February 2022, following a tenure at Teekay as Chief Officer from August 2018 to March 2021. Earlier career positions include Chief Officer roles at NYK LNG Shipmanagement UK and NYK Line, as well as experience as a Maritime Deck Officer at Maersk Line. Catalin began a maritime career as a 3rd Officer with Interglobal Maritime Agency. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Harbour Management and an Engineer's degree in Maritime Studies from Constanta Maritime University, complemented by a diploma from "Traian" High School Constanta.
