Jonathan Hughes

Jonathan Hughes is an experienced professional in the maritime industry, currently serving as Tech Ops Manager at Seapeak since February 2022, overseeing technical operations of LNG carriers. Prior roles include Tech Ops Manager at Teekay, Senior Fleet Superintendent at Anglo-Eastern, and various technical superintendent positions at Rio Tinto and Meridian Marine Management Limited. Jonathan's extensive background encompasses project management and technical operations across a range of vessel types, including bulk carriers and ferries. Educational qualifications include a B.Eng(Hons) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, along with MCA certifications. Jonathan is also a Contributor and Patron at the National Maritime Museum since June 1998.
