Arno Holtrop

Arno Holtrop is a Modelling and Test Engineer at SeaQurrent® since September 2016, where responsibilities include modeling the performance and physical behavior of the patented TidalKite™, as well as developing control narratives and software for testing phases. Prior to this role, Arno worked as a Modelling Engineer at SeaQurrent, contributing to the design of the TidalKite through numerical modeling after completing a thesis internship. Arno's professional journey began with an internship at Royal HaskoningDHV during the master's program in Energy and Environmental Sciences at the University of Groningen. Additionally, Arno served as a Tutor at ASL Instituut voor Educatie en Begeleiding, providing intensive support to students across various educational levels. Arno holds two master's degrees in Physics and Energy and Environmental Sciences, along with a bachelor's degree in Physics, all from the University of Groningen.
