Stoney Degeyter

Stoney deGeyter is a seasoned digital marketing professional with extensive experience in web marketing and SEO. Currently, Stoney serves as the Director of Digital Marketing at Socket Mobile, Inc. since February 2020 and has contributed as a web marketing columnist for Search Engine Journal and Search Engine Land since 2012 and 2007, respectively. Stoney previously held the position of Vice President of Search and Advertising at The Karcher Group from January 2019 to November 2019, where a focus was placed on team restructuring and development. As the Founder and CEO of Pole Position Marketing from April 1998 to December 2018, Stoney was instrumental in building the agency and overseeing all operations. Additionally, Stoney contributed articles to Search Engine Guide from 2005 to 2015 and briefly worked in graphic design at CB Richard Ellis in 1999-2000. Stoney holds a degree from Northwest University.
