John Marks

John Marks is an accomplished author and social entrepreneur, currently serving as an author for Columbia University Press with the publication titled "From Vision to Action: Remaking the World Through Social Entrepreneurship." As the Founder and Managing Director of Confluence International since January 2022, John's extensive experience includes being a Visiting Scholar in Peacebuilding and Social Entrepreneurship at Leiden University, and the Founder and Senior Advisor of Search for Common Ground and Common Ground Productions, which was nominated for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize. John holds a BA in Government from Cornell University and has engaged in advanced studies at Harvard University and UN University of Peace, where an honorary doctorate was awarded. Recognized as a Skoll Awardee in Social Entrepreneurship and an Ashoka Senior Fellow, John's media production achievements include executive-producing numerous documentary and dramatic series across various international contexts.
