Lena Slachmuijlder

Lena Slachmuijlder is an accomplished leader in peacebuilding and digital innovation, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Council on Tech and Social Cohesion since August 2023. With an extensive background at Search for Common Ground since October 2001, Lena has held multiple senior roles, including Executive Director of Digital Peacebuilding, Senior Vice President of Programs, and Chief Programming Officer, where responsibilities included the design, implementation, and oversight of impactful peacebuilding programs across numerous countries. Prior experience includes directing media initiatives in conflict zones, producing diverse media projects, and advocating for human rights. Lena's educational credentials include a BA in International Relations from Stanford University, a fellowship from Brandeis University, and a degree in Creative Leadership from the THNK School of Leadership.
