Michael Watt

VP, Global Programs at Search for Common Ground

Michael Watt currently serves as the Vice President for Global Programs at Search for Common Ground, beginning in March 2024. Previously, Michael held prominent roles at Corus International from February 2017 to December 2023, including Senior Advisor and Vice President of International Programs/Operations, where leadership was provided to over 500 staff across more than 22 countries and responsibility was held for a $100+ million budget and over $600 million in projects. From November 2004 to January 2017, Michael was the Associate Vice President for Field Operations at Lutheran World Relief, overseeing programs in over 20 countries with a project delivery of $146 million. Earlier in the career, Michael held various positions at Catholic Relief Services from 1991 to 2004, including Deputy Regional Director for Latin America and Country Representative in Russia. Michael holds an A.B. in History and Literature from Harvard University and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, specializing in Natural Resource Management and Food, Agriculture & Nutrition Policy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
