Sean Smith

Sean Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing and investing in small businesses. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Search Fund Ventures since August 2024, Sean focuses on supporting acquisition entrepreneurs in the North American economy. Prior roles include Vice President at Applico and Board Member at Treble, where Sean contributed to corporate strategy and operations. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Tangerine House Inc, Sean led the company until its acquisition by Treble Industries Inc. Additional experience includes roles in leveraged finance and debt capital markets at CIBC Capital Markets, as well as internships focused on marketing and trading. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from New York University.
