Megen Hoenk

Megen Hoenk is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Search Institute since April 2022. Prior to this role, Megen held various senior positions, including Director of Marketing, Public Relations and Branding, and Senior Communications Counselor at Neuger, and Director of Corporate Communications at North Carolina Railroad Company. Megen also served as Director of Marketing and External Affairs at North Carolina Community College System and held multiple roles at Public Radio East, including News Director and Reporter/Producer/Host. Megen began the career at NPR as an intern and at Morehead State Public Radio. Megen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Morehead State University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University.
