Hans Hoogenboom

Head of CRO at Search Laboratory

Hans Hoogenboom has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Verkoopmedewerker ICT at BCC Elektro-speciaalzaken BV for six months. In 2011, they joined H&M as a Customer Service representative, where they stayed for a year. From 2012 to 2014, Hans worked as an Allround help at Formani Holland B.V. During the same period, they also gained experience at Oban Digital as a User Experience Executive Intern, where they set up A/B, A/B/n, and multivariate tests, and provided advice on UX design and best practices. Hans then transitioned to a User Experience Executive role, working on various projects until September 2014.

In 2015, Hans returned to Fresh Egg Digital Marketing Agency as a Conversion Strategist, a position they held until 2017. Hans then took on the role of Senior Conversion Strategist within the same company, staying until 2019. Joining iCrossing UK in June 2019, they served as a Senior Optimisation Manager until March 2021.

Most recently, in March 2021, Hans became the Conversion Services Director at Fresh Egg Digital Marketing Agency, until their current role as Head of CRO at Search Laboratory, which began in November 2022.

Hans Hoogenboom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Multimedia Design from Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Before that, they completed Havo, specializing in the German language, at Graaf Huyn College from 2006 to 2008, and prior to that, they completed VMBO with a focus on Techniek at Graaf Huyn College from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Hans Hoogenboom also obtained various certifications. In 2015, they achieved the Google Analytics IQ certification. In 2016, they obtained the Google Optimize 360 certification and the Optimizely Developer Certified certification. In 2017, they acquired the Optimizely X Full Stack Foundations certification, the Optimizely X Strategy Foundations certification, the Optimizely X Technical Foundations certification, and the Optimizely X Web Foundations certification. In 2018, they obtained the Monetate Experience Certified certification. Lastly, in 2020, they obtained the Adobe Professional – Adobe Target Business Practitioner certification.
