Pierre Garreau, PhD has held a variety of roles in the finance and technology industries since 2009. From 2009-2008 they worked as a Summer Quantitative Analyst at LCF Rothschild Investment Partners. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Associate, Quantitative Analytics at Citi. From 2013-2015 they held the role of Associate, Quantitative Analyst, Rates trading at Deutsche Bank. During 2015 they were a Founding Partner at Big Denominator, a Senior Data Scientist at Liquid Labs GmbH, and a Research Fellow at IPAM, UCLA. In 2016 they were a Product Manager, AI team at collectAI and from 2017-2019 they were the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Maritime Data Systems GmbH. Currently, they are the CEO & Co-Founder of searoutes.com.

Pierre Garreau, PhD completed their Diplome d'ingenieur in Applied Mathematics and Engineering from Ecole centrale de Lyon from 2004 to 2007. Pierre then obtained their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Operation Research and Financial Engineering from Cornell University from 2006 to 2007. Pierre then completed their DEA in Financial Mathematics and Mathematics from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2007 to 2008. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Florida State University from 2008 to 2013.
