Jessica Bretherton is an accomplished designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry, currently serving as a Womenswear Designer at Seasalt since October 2021, where responsibilities include designing multi-product lines across hard and soft wovens as well as technical rainwear. Previously, at Superdry from May 2017 to October 2021, Jessica focused on womenswear, specializing in dresses, tops, leather jackets, and denim. Jessica began a career at Old Navy as a Childrenswear Assistant Designer from August 2015 to May 2017 and progressed to a Womenswear Assistant Designer role. Early career experiences include design internships at Dorothy Perkins and Jean-Pierre Braganza. Jessica holds a BA Hons in Fashion Design from Northumbria University and has a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Winstanley College. In addition to design work, Jessica is a Design Outreach Ambassador, promoting creative careers through engagement with local schools and organizing work experience opportunities at Seasalt.

Our story began in Penzance in 1981. From our first shop on Adelaide Street, we sold traditional workwear to local farmers, fishermen and artists. Inspired by this creative, coastal community, we went on to design our own collections.
