Ellen Chang

Ellen Chang is an advisor at Seasats. Ellen was previously the Vice President of Operations at Cognitive Medical Systems, Inc. from June 2017 to September 2018. During their time at Cognitive Medical Systems, Inc., they were tasked with managing the work of a cross-functional leadership team in handling all finance and accounting functions, as well as carrying out industry analysis in preparation for entry to the commercial market sector.

Some of their significant accomplishments include providing crucial guidance to the product team in Healthcare Informatics Product Definition and Strategy in ensuring foothold for the transition to the healthcare IT landscape, initiating product definition which enabled positioning for a $10M venture capital round, laying the groundwork for scaling proposal operations which in turn led to a 300% revenue growth in five years, and establishing consistent proposal operations to match sales funnel, along with cooperation agreements, while managing the negotiation of terms and conditions.

Ellen was also responsible for converting finance/accounting procedure from manual to digital processes, which generated substantial growth without incurring additional expenditures, and optimizing the company's accounting system for handling government business by managing the recognition and official certification of its cost accounting system.
