Dave Kerr

Dave Kerr is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management with a comprehensive background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of Health Safety Environment Quality at Seaspan ULC since May 2018, Dave previously held roles at Cenovus Energy from February 2013 to February 2018, where efforts focused on institutionalizing incident management to improve safety culture. Prior experience includes a position as Lead Safety Security Health and Environment Advisor at Amec Natural Resources, where Dave was seconded to ExxonMobil, contributing to major projects in Western Canada. As Vice President at Hydra Marine Services from 2001 to 2005, Dave managed business operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Dave's career began as a commercial diver, gaining extensive global experience across various high-activity environments. Education includes a degree in Marine Technology, specializing in Commercial Diving, from Santa Barbara City College.
