James Thomson P.Eng. has extensive experience in engineering and design, currently serving as Engineer III at Seaspan ULC since July 2020. Previously, James worked as a Mechanical EIT at Echoflex Solutions, where the focus was on designing mechanical parts for control systems and producing prototypes via 3D printing. Prior roles include Mechanical Designer at Quantum Technology Corp., responsible for mechanical designs for scientific equipment, and Supplier Quality Lead at AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp., where contributions included co-authoring the Supplier Quality Handbook and conducting inspections. James began their career in the gaming industry at Electronic Arts, taking on roles as an Audio Artist and QA Tester. James holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sound Technology from Liverpool John Moores University.
