Matthew Gillmore

Matthew Gillmore currently serves as the Manager of Electronic Systems Engineering at Seaspan ULC, overseeing the Electronic Systems Integration department with a significant expansion of the team from 8 to 36 engineers in just two years. Previously, Matthew held the position of System Engineering Manager at Thales, where responsibilities included managing technical aspects of systems for the Coast Guard Offshore Fisheries Science Vessels and serving as the IVVQ Manager for the NSS program. Prior to that, Matthew was an entrepreneur at Task Angels, leading the social enterprise to profitability and employing youth for construction tasks. Matthew's career began as a Marine Systems Engineering Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and a specialized course in Marine Systems Engineering Applications from the Canadian Forces Naval Engineering School.
