Vladimir Savchenko

Vladimir Savchenko has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vladimir is currently the Director of Software Development at SeaSpine, starting in March 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2021, they worked as a Software Architect at 7D Surgical.

From 2011 to 2015, Vladimir held the position of Software Engineer/Consultant at SCIEX, where they developed device drivers, instrument control software, and integration solutions for mass spectrometers and liquid chromatography systems. Vladimir also worked as a Technical Project Manager on various assigned projects.

Before joining SCIEX, Vladimir worked as a Software Engineer/Consultant at Softchoice from 2010 to 2012. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Software Engineer/Consultant at SCIEX, serving as a Software Team Lead on the SCIEX MALDI-TOF/TOF platform and the SCIEX MPX-2 System.

Vladimir's earlier experience includes roles as a Technical Consultant at Blackboard in 2007, a Software Engineer/Consultant at IPC Systems, Inc. from 2006 to 2007, and a Software Engineer/Consultant at Sirius Satellite Radio from 2005 to 2006. During their tenure at Sirius Satellite Radio, they designed and implemented automation components, hardware simulators, and software tools for supporting firmware development and verification of broadcast content.

Prior to that, Vladimir worked at Cedara Software from 1999 to 2005, where they served as a Software Engineer/Technical Team Lead. Vladimir'sresponsibilities included developing software solutions for medical imaging and surgical navigation systems, including projects such as the Gyroview Workstation software for Philips Gyroscan MRI scanners.

Vladimir's early career includes a role as a Software Engineer/Technical Lead/Co-Founder at Alcor, Ltd. from 1997 to 1999. In this role, they designed and implemented custom business software and was also involved in business development and client management.

Throughout their career, Vladimir Savchenko has held various technical and leadership roles, demonstrating their expertise in software development, project management, and technical team leadership.

Vladimir Savchenko obtained a B.Sc. in Applied Physics from Belarusian State University from 1991 to 1994. Vladimir then pursued further education and earned an Ms. Sc. in Applied Physics from the same university between 1994 and 1996. Additionally, Vladimir obtained certifications as a C++ Programmer and a C Programmer from TekMetrics, ID # 55258, in September and August of 1999, respectively.
