Kevin Chung

Kevin Chung has held a variety of positions in the medical field. From 2022 to present, they have served as Chief Medical Officer of SeaStar Medical. From 2016 to present, they have been Professor and Chair of Medicine, Professor of Surgery (Secondary), and Professor of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Additionally, from 2016 to present, they have been Chief of Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center. From 2008 to 2016, they held the positions of Director of Research, Task Area Manager, Clinical Trials, and Medical Director, Burn ICU at US Army Institute of Surgical Research. Lastly, from 2005 to 2008, they were a Medical Intensivist at the Burn Center.

Kevin Chung attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a BS degree. Kevin then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
