Derek Freyou

Derek Freyou is an experienced Field Service Technician currently employed at Seatrax, Inc. since October 2020, having previously held a similar position at National Oilwell Varco from July 2013 to October 2020. Derek has worked extensively with various equipment, including Top Drive Models, Drawworks Models, and Blow Out Preventers. Prior to this, Derek was a Machinist at Unique Manufacturing and Services LLC from September 2008 to July 2013, where responsibilities included the installation and alignment of tools and quality measurement of workpieces. Earlier experience includes roles as a Machine Operator at Hunting from February 2007 to September 2008, and as a Shop Hand at Streamline Industries, where coursework in Machine Tooling Technology was also undertaken. Derek holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist from South Louisiana Community College, earned between 2006 and 2008.
