Sean Yokomizo

Sean Yokomizo serves as the Vice President of Communications at InnerPlant since September 2020, bringing extensive experience in public relations and communications from various roles including Director of Communications and Advisor across multiple companies such as SEATREC and MyYogaTeacher. Prior experience includes account management and media relations strategy at VSC Consulting, focusing on consumer health brands and successful PR campaigns. Sean has also contributed to community outreach and development as the Communications & Development Manager for APPEAL, and has held editorial positions, including a role as a Contributing Editor at News24/680. With a career that began in freelance journalism, Sean has demonstrated proficiency in crafting targeted messaging and managing communication strategies, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Literature from UC Santa Barbara.
