Ang Joo Hock

Ang Joo Hock currently serves as the President of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore (SNAMES) and holds a position as a Board Member at Gravifloat AS. From June 2016, Ang has worked at Seatrium as the Assistant Vice President for Technology & New Product Development in the Program Office. Prior experience includes various roles at Sembawang Shipyard, including Project Manager (Engineering), Production Manager (Hull), and Assistant Project Manager. Ang's early career involved serving as an Assistant Engineer (Hull) at Sembawang Shipyard. Ang completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glasgow and has a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Diploma with Merit in Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
