Amy Olsen

Research Scientist at Seattle Aquarium

Amy Olsen is an experienced research scientist with a strong background in marine and environmental affairs, holding a Master's degree from the University of Washington. Currently serving in various roles at Seattle Aquarium since September 2014, including supervisor for water quality analysis, Amy has also contributed as a divemaster at TLSea Diving and as a laboratory technician at Olden Lab. Previous positions include research assistant at Confluence Environmental Company and educator at the Environmental Science Center. With volunteer experience spanning from marine education to disaster response coordination, Amy possesses a diverse skill set alongside a solid academic foundation in aquatic and fishery science, psychology, and a commitment to environmental education and conservation.
