Emily Gardner

Emily Gardner currently serves as the Assistant Manager of Gallery Learning at the Seattle Art Museum, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Emily gained experience as a Teaching Artist in Residence and Teaching Artist at the Shakespeare Theatre Company from February 2022 to October 2023, and held multiple positions at Theater J, including Development Manager and Development Coordinator, from October 2021 to October 2023. Earlier experience includes a Research Associate role at Mathematica, where policy research was conducted for clients such as the Gates Foundation. Emily's background also encompasses significant positions in academia and theater, including a Thought Lab Research Assistant at Colorado College and Artistic Director of the Theatre Workshop at Colorado College. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colorado College and further studies at the University of Oslo.
