Tanya Blackwell

Tanya Blackwell serves as the Grants and Contracts Supervisor at Seattle Children's since June 2022, where responsibilities include supervising a team of Grants and Contracts Administrators and supporting researchers within the Center Business Operations. Previously, Tanya held the position of Grants and Contracts Manager at Duke University, managing over 170 award codes valued at more than $57 million. Experience extends to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where Tanya led the Office of Sponsored Programs, and includes roles at Georgia Tech Research Corporation, Emory University School of Medicine, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Tanya holds a Master’s Degree in Research Administration from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
