Amy Chasanov has been working in the field of arts and culture for over 20 years. Amy has a long history of working with arts organizations in Seattle, first as the Advancement Director at Town Hall Seattle from 2013 to 2018, and more recently as a Trustee at Seattle Children's Theatre.
Amy's experience in donor relations began at Intiman Theatre, where they worked as the Donor Relations Manager from 2009 to 2011. In this role, they were responsible for cultivate relationships with donors and managing fundraising campaigns.
Since then, Amy has been instrumental in leading several successful fundraising campaigns for both Town Hall and Seattle Children's Theatre. In 2018, they led The Campaign for Town Hall, a capital fundraising effort that raised over $28 million for the renovation of the historic Town Hall building. Amy is currently leading a team of 7 in the annual fundraising for Operations at Seattle Children's Theatre with a goal of $1.6 million from membership, annual fund, special events, government, foundations, and corporations.
Amy Chasanov has a Masters Degree in Theology & Culture from the Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts; Acting & Theatre Business Practices from Western Washington University.
