Adam Purner

Adam Purner is an accomplished hockey video analyst currently with the Seattle Kraken since August 2025 and serves as the Video Coordinator for the USA Hockey Women’s National Team Program since August 2019. With extensive experience in video coaching roles for AHL affiliates of the Washington Capitals and New Jersey Devils, Purner has specialized in pre-scouting opponents and live game analysis using various software tools. Purner began a career in sports with the Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club, focusing on scouting and video management. Prior to the sports industry, Purner held multiple roles at Craig Stein Beverage, including Warehouse and Facilities Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and quality assurance programs. Purner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Anthropology from Washington State University Vancouver, along with additional certifications from USA Hockey.
