Brian LaMacchia

Brian LaMacchia is Vice President at Seattle Opera. Brian has also been a Member of the Board of Directors at Seattle International Film Festival from August 2009 to December 2019. Prior to that, they were with FARCASTER Consulting Group and AT&T Labs Research, where they served as Senior Member Of Technical Staff from August 1996 to August 1997. Brian has also worked with Microsoft and University of Washington in the past.

Brian LaMacchia earned their PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Brian also earned an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, as well as two S.Bs. in Computer Science with a minor in Economics and Electrical Engineering from the school.
