Tania Hino, PhD, serves as a Parent Education Instructor at North Seattle College since December 2013, where responsibilities include developing curricula and engaging parents in learning about effective parenting and the importance of higher education. Additionally, Tania is a Podcast Host for both Adelante Leadership and the North Seattle College Cooperative Preschools, facilitating discussions on parenting through the podcast "Parenting Takes a Village: North Seattle College and You!" since February 2021. With a long-standing role as a Storyteller at The Seattle Public Library since December 2007, Tania leads Spanish and bilingual story times while creating age-appropriate curricula. As the Founder and Director of Somos Mujeres Latinas since January 2014, Tania oversees the organization's mission and financial management. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Leadership Studies from Saint Martin's University and multiple degrees in Social Work and Arts from the University of Washington, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Seattle Central College.
