Patrick Ward

Patrick Ward is the Director of Research & Analytics for the Seattle Seahawks. Prior to joining the Seahawks, Ward worked for Nike as a Sports Performance Researcher for their Sports Research Lab. Ward has also been the owner of Optimum Sports Performance, a company that they founded in 2006.

Patrick Ward received their PhD in sports science from Liverpool John Moores University. Prior to that, they earned their MS in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. Patrick also holds a BA in music performance from Berklee College of Music. In addition, Patrick Ward is certified by the A.R.T., Functional Movement Screen, N.M.T., National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), USA Weightlifting, American Massage Therapy Association, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Titleist Performance Institute.
