Katie Pendleton

Katie Pendleton has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Katie is currently employed by Seattle Sounders FC as a Social Impact Events Manager, a role they began in June 2021. Prior to this, Katie spent several years at Seattle Sounders FC in various community outreach roles, including Community Outreach Manager from January 2018 to October 2020 and Community Outreach Coordinator from March 2015 to January 2018.

Before joining Seattle Sounders FC, Katie worked at Dick's Brewing Company from October 2012 to February 2015 as part of the Sales & Marketing team. Katie was responsible for developing and coordinating sales, managing promotional events, and handling marketing materials and social media.

Earlier in their career, Katie worked at Kingdom Hope as a Community Outreach Director & Event Planner from July 2010 to February 2015. In this role, they collaborated with the organization's founder and marketing director to manage soccer clinics, speaking events, and community outreach programs. Katie also played a role in fundraising and worked on the organization's website and social media presence.

Katie also has experience working at Neighborcare Health as a Volunteer Coordinator from November 2010 to September 2012, where they started a volunteer program for health clinics and managed recruitment and training. Prior to that, they served as the Development Director at Gorilla FC from July 2009 to September 2011, working on promotions, fundraising, and building relationships with local businesses and soccer organizations.

In their earlier career, Katie worked at Bellevue Arts Museum in various roles, including Events & Volunteer Coordinator from March 2007 to October 2010, where they handled rentals, coordinated museum functions, and managed volunteers. Before that, they worked as Admissions & Membership staff from August 2005 to March 2007, promoting memberships, providing customer service, and assisting with grants.

Katie Pendleton attended Bozeman High School from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a high school diploma. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Seattle University from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Visual Art & Art History.
