Arnie Sathiy

Arnie Sathiy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and strategic leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Business Development Director at Seaweed Enterprises, Arnie is focused on establishing a leading seaweed processing hub in Fife while promoting sustainability in the Scottish seaweed industry. In addition, Arnie contributes to Scottish Hockey as a People Committee Board Member, striving to enhance participation and inclusion in the sport. Previously, Arnie held numerous senior roles, including Head of Business Development and Sales at Mara Seaweed Ltd., and Director at Sprucedale Consulting, where a diverse portfolio was managed. Arnie’s early career included significant positions in recruitment and consultancy, including Managing Consultant at Badenoch & Clark and Director at Stanton House. An alumnus of the University of Edinburgh, Arnie holds a degree in History.
