Silvester Knuut

Silvester Knuut is a Senior Test Automation Engineer at SEB since January 2025, focusing on developing a Test Automation Framework to aid manual QAs and Business Developers in adding new tests without needing coding skills. Previously, Knuut served as the Quality Assurance Team Lead at SK ID Solutions from July 2022 to December 2024, supporting the Estonian state in certificate issuance for national identity documents. Prior experience includes roles as a QA Engineer at Guardtime, testing blockchain-based systems, and Automation Engineer at ASA Quality Services, providing test automation for various clients. Knuut also worked as a System Verification Engineer at Stoneridge, ensuring quality for electronic control units, and held positions at Ericsson and the Ministry of Finance in IT support and troubleshooting. Knuut holds a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication, a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Bionics, and has a comprehensive educational background from Tallinn University of Technology and Kari Gymnasium.
