Andy Schümperli

Andy Schümperli has over 40 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on foreign exchange (FX) trading and institutional sales. Andy has held various roles in prestigious companies such as SEBA Bank AG, QCAM Currency Asset Management AG, Thomson Reuters, Citi, UBS Investment Bank, Aargauische Kantonalbank, UBP - Union Bancaire Privée, Julius Baer, and Credit Suisse.

At SEBA Bank AG, Andy currently serves as the Head Strategic Accounts, responsible for managing strategic client relationships. Prior to that, they were a Senior Client Manager for Institutional Clients.

Before joining SEBA Bank AG, Andy worked at QCAM Currency Asset Management AG as an Institutional Sales professional for a year.

During their time at Thomson Reuters, Andy held the position of Sr. Director and Regional Head Transaction Sales for FXall. Andy was instrumental in establishing the first FXall office on the continent and driving new business development in the DACH region. Andy significantly increased brand awareness, acquired 65 new clients across various segments, and achieved impressive volume growth rates.

At Citi, Andy was the Director of FX Bank Sales, where they played a pivotal role in developing and implementing the award-winning FX-trading platform "Velocity." Andy successfully expanded the bank's client base in Russia, CEE, Central Asia, the German-speaking part of Switzerland, and Liechtenstein, resulting in significant market share growth.

Andy also worked at UBS Investment Bank as the Director of FX Bank Marketing, responsible for new business development and selling UBS FX products. Andy successfully grew market share and substantially increased revenue for existing clients.

Earlier in their career, Andy served as a Customer Advisor Institutional Banking at Aargauische Kantonalbank, where they managed a portfolio of institutional clients and provided investment solutions.

At UBP - Union Bancaire Privée, Andy held the position of Head Trading & Sales, responsible for leading the trading and sales team.

Andy started their career at Julius Baer as a VP of FX Trading and gained experience in FX trading at Credit Suisse, where they held the positions of FX Chief Dealer and FX Trader.

Andy Schümperli's extensive experience in strategic accounts, institutional sales, business development, and FX trading makes him a valuable asset in the financial industry.

Andy Schümperli completed their education at three different institutions. From 1976 to 1978, they attended Juventus Schulen Zürich and obtained a Federal Diploma in Business/Commerce, General. Following this, they enrolled at KV Business School Zürich from 1979 to 1980, where they earned a Swiss Federal Diploma in Business/Commerce, General. Lastly, Schümperli attended KSZH (Kaderschule Zürich) from 1999 to 2002, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics.
