Leonard Eschenbaum

Leonard Eschenbaum has worked in the field of security consulting for several companies. Leonard began their career as a Student Assistant at Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 2013. In 2015, they joined DigiTrace GmbH as a Student Intern and later worked as a Freelancer on a project basis in IT-Forensics. Simultaneously, they worked as a Student Assistant at secunet Security Networks AG, where they gained experience in development related to MSS and PKI/Biometrics. In 2015, they also worked as a Freelancer on a project basis for TronicGuard GmbH, specializing in Pentesting and Ethical Hacking. Since 2018, Leonard has been working at SEC Consult Group in various roles, starting as an Associate Security Consultant and gradually progressing to a Senior Security Consultant.

From 2011 to 2016, they attended Ruhr University Bochum and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in IT-Security.

In 2015, they also studied at Gjøvik University College (HiG) for a brief period and received a Bachelor's Degree in IT-Security.

Subsequently, from 2016 to 2020, Leonard pursued a Master's Degree in IT-Security at Ruhr University Bochum.

In terms of additional certifications, in December 2020, they obtained the eMAPT certification from eLearnSecurity as a Mobile Application Penetration Tester.

Furthermore, in April 2021, Leonard received the GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB) certification from GIAC Certifications.

Lastly, in October 2022, they acquired the eWPTXv2 certification from eLearnSecurity.
