Simon W.

Simon W. has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of security consulting. Simon began their career as a Werkstudent Web Development at Berenberg in 2016, then transitioned to a Praktikant Data Warehouse/QS role before joining NXP Semiconductors as a Bachelorand/Werkstudent Cooperative Innovation Projects in 2018. Simon then worked as an Associate Security Consultant at SEC Consult Group from October 2018 to March 2019. Simon then joined SimCog Technologies GmbH as a Praktikant Data Science for a few months in 2019 before returning to SEC Consult Group as an Associate Security Consultant. In April 2023, they were promoted to a Security Consultant position at SEC Consult Group, where they currently work.

Simon W. completed their Master of Science in Informatik at the Technical University of Munich from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Informatics from Hamburg University of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. During their time at Hamburg University of Technology, they also spent a year (2015-2016) studying Génie d'Informatique at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC). Simon W. further bolstered their education by obtaining the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in September 2022.
