Tamás Jós

Tamás Jós has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Tamás is currently employed as a Principal Security Consultant at SEC Consult Group since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at SEC Consult Group from January 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining SEC Consult Group, Tamás worked at SWIFT as a Senior Red Team member (hacker) from September 2015 to December 2018. Tamás was responsible for conducting assessments and testing the security of SWIFT's systems.

Prior to SWIFT, they worked at Sony Techsoft Centre as a Security Software Engineer from July 2013 to August 2015. Tamás'sresponsibilities included hacking DRM implementations and modified Android platforms, as well as performing web penetration testing and embedded device testing.

Before Sony Techsoft Centre, Tamás worked as a Penetration Tester (contractor) at du from January 2013 to July 2013. Tamás also gained experience as an Ethical Hacking Engineer at Vodafone Operations Centre Hungary (VOCH) from May 2012 to January 2013.

Additionally, Tamás served as a Lecturer at Kürt Academy from January 2011 to January 2013, where they shared their expertise in cybersecurity.

Tamás also worked as a Senior Cyber Defence Expert at the National Security Authority from April 2011 to May 2012, contributing to the country's cyber defense efforts.

Tamás began their career at SEARCH-Lab Ltd. as an HW & SW Security Professional from January 2010 to April 2011. Tamás'sfocus was on embedded device security testing, particularly Set-top-Boxes.

Tamás Jós completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Telecommunications from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in 2009. Prior to that, they also obtained a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering - Telecommunications from Budapest Tech (University of Applied Sciences) in 2009. In 2010, Tamás obtained certification as a Kürt Academy Certified Ethical Hacker. Additionally, in 2011, they obtained the Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) certification from Offensive Security.
